My academic focus is on math and science, and I plan to study engineering at university. I bring the same preparation and persistence to school that I bring to training.

EARLIER CHAPTERS
Beyond the pool
Before focusing on swimming, I competed in ski racing with Grouse Mountain Tyee through my second U14 year, earning podium finishes at zone races, ski cross races and Nancy Greene Festivals during my U8–U12 years. I also sailed with Hollyburn Sailing Club, played baseball with the North Shore Baseball Association, and danced with North Shore Academy of Dancing, where our group won medals and trophies.
